01 Experience

Chief Software Engineer

TOO “CIT” Orleu, Karaganda

  • Architect and lead development of high-load educational platforms incl. bilimal.kz and sabidamu.kz.
  • Designed an automated AI-assisted proctoring system to monitor and secure online exams.
  • Optimized backend infrastructure with Go and PostgreSQL for high concurrent traffic.
Senior Software Engineer / Video Core ArchitectMegacam / NPO Perspektiva
  • Designed and built the core video engine for large-scale video surveillance (egsv.kz).
  • Low-level modules for stream capture, decoding and proxying.
  • Integrated enterprise software with thousands of IP cameras via RTSP and ONVIF.
Full-Stack DeveloperMegacam / NPO Perspektiva
  • Video streaming server architecture on Node.js.
  • Cross-platform desktop interfaces with Electron and Vue.js.
Software EngineerTOO “CIT” Orleu
  • Maintained and expanded the bilimal.kz portal (PHP, Yii, MySQL).
Head of Sysadmin & Internal DevelopmentTOO KSKAVTO
  • Built an internal Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
  • Automated inventory catalog with multi-site media synchronization.

FaceX Engine

A full face stack that runs entirely in the browser — detection, 98-point landmarks, 576-point 3D mesh, recognition and passive anti-spoof. Models trained from scratch; zero server, camera frames never leave the device.

computer vision · ANPR / LPR · 2025

ParkVision

Own neural pipeline for automatic license-plate recognition of Kazakhstan plates (and 6 more countries) plus vehicle-type classification — for parking, barriers and access control. Detect → rectify → read → classify, served over a REST API. Co-authored with Aidos Zhumadilov.

Aegis

Zero-build reactive UI engine for server-rendered pages: signals, islands, html`` templates, forms, router — one ES module, 0 dependencies. This site runs on its signals core.

NexusEye Stack

Video management stack built for high-efficiency bitstream processing (H.264 / H.265) without heavy pixel-decoding overhead.

AI Agents & Automation

Backend logic for autonomous systems, automated analytical loops and smart video-processing agents.

Aegis figures from its README (1085 tests, 0 dependencies, works with Django / Laravel / Rails / Go / PHP). Others from their public docs; sizes approximate. Alpine and Petite-Vue are smaller and great for sprinkles; htmx is ideal when the server should do everything — Aegis targets pages that need real client state, data and forms without a SPA.

04 Speaking

Open to conference talks, workshops, meetups and podcasts. Topics come straight from systems I’ve built and run in production.

  1. Computer vision on the edge — and in the browser.Shipping detection, 3D face mesh and recognition in WebAssembly with zero server (FaceX).
  2. Building face recognition systems from scratch.Training, benchmarking on LFW, anti-spoofing and keeping latency at ~3 ms per face.
  3. Reading Kazakhstan license plates with your own models.Detector + rectification + CRNN/CTC OCR + vehicle type at 40–60 ms per frame (ParkVision).
  4. AI agents in production.Tool-using assistants, confirmation flows, watchdogs and regression tests on live data (KindWatch).
  5. AI for legal tech in Kazakhstan.Self-hosted RAG over legislation, forensic AI and speech tools for investigators (TergeuPro).
  6. Zero-build frontends.Reactive islands on server-rendered pages with Aegis — no bundler, no SPA.
